St Bernard Trust
Registered Charity No: 328193
This is a charity very close to my heart.
We both work as volunteers to home check, transport dogs and raise well needed funds for the St Bernard Trust.
I find it hard to comprehend how anyone could mistreat any dog, especially the breed I have grown to love so much.
People seem to buy a cute little puppy at 8 weeks old and not realise that they grow to 30+ inches in height and can weigh well over 80kgs! A dog this size can clearly be a handful for the inexperienced owners.
Rambo's Story
Liz asked us to go and see Rambo and his owners as they had called her saying he was out on control, very energetic and was not trained.
When we arrived he was chained in the garden and had a wooden 'box-like' kennel. The owners clearly hadn't trained him and decided it was time to let him go to a new home, to someone with more experience and could train him...........
I am pleased to hear that Rambo has settled into his new home and is now a very happy dog who is a pleasure to live with.

The St Bernard Trust does NOT receive any funding from the government and is solely run from donations. So if you feel you would like to make a donation, can help raise funds or interested in becoming a volunteer please contact Liz on the details below.
